I took the corrected documents in yesterday and I called this afternoon and it’s allready DONE! I can’t believe it! Yet another miracle in our list of wonderful miracles! I’ll pick it up tomorrow and get it sent off to the agency. Doin’ a little jig today! Woohoo!!!

We went to our first Indian food restaurant last night and tried it for the very first time. I got chiken biriyani(sp?) and I have to say

IT WAS DELICIOUS!! Yay! I was really worried I wouldn’t like it.

The only problem is, almost EVERYTHING on the menu was made with dairy of some kind. And my oldest son is allergic. He was really dissapointed in his peas and rice chutney and I’m sure it will be difficult to get him to go back But on the bright side my baby could eat the nan(bread) because it has no WHEAT! hooray! Now I guess I’ll have to learn to cook it too.

Over HALF of them were worded wrong and need to be redone! AAAAHHHHH! I tried so hard not to cry in the office, but as soon as my but hit the seat in the car I just LOST IT! I cried all the way home. *sigh* My 7yo son is so sweet. When we got home he hugged me and said “It’s ok Mom.” Oh he’s so scrumptious! :-*)

Well, all is not lost. I should be able to have them all re-notorized this weekend and head back to the authenication office Monday Morning. And *sigh* they told me it could take 5-10 days! This is so hard! I want my baby HOME!!! :-*)

Dossier should be done by Wednesday we hope!

This is taking so long and it is getting so frustrating for me! Just when I feel like we’re close to done I’ll find out I did something wrong and or forgot something else! I wish there was and idiots guide to Indian Dossier that I could purchase so I could get it right the FIRST TIME! *sigh* it’s times like this that the day we will bring our daughter home seems SOOOO far away!

I can’t believe it! Exactly 2 weeks from the time we had our passports done they arrived in the mail! Unbelievable! I still can’t believe it. That solves several problems for our dossier. YAY!

No sign of 171H yet though, *sigh* We were fingerprinted on July 19th so I’m hoping to find it in the mail any day now.

Dossier Update: Well, we’re working on it! LOL We have everything done except photos of the PARENTS duh. I thought it was photos of the family. I have none of just us, so we are doing those tomorrow. Certificate of property (dh is working on this) and declaration of financial status(I’m working on this right now)

Sooooo, maybe we can get this done by the middle of next week! I hope so, this is so hard knowing we’re not even too “the waiting” yet until we get this done. I feel like such a dunce, this has been so much harder than I originally thought it would be.

Rani’s birthday was on the 31st. I have to admit, it was tough knowing that she was celebrating a birthday and we couldn’t be with her. I was a little sniffly all day and I thought of her often. The kids and I had a little party for her. We made cards and read stories from India. When I have a chance to catch my breath I’m going to send her a care package with the cards inside.

We ran into a couple of snags on our Dossier paperwork *sigh* of course. So now we are shooting for next week! This is so frustrating, I want to be done with this so bad! But we are getting closer and closer and that’s ok.

Oh and good news, we got the loan! Our adoption is now financed! Thank you to all who helped us with the money for our BCIS fees and passports. We’d be so much further behind without it! You are all wonderful!
