David and Tamra would like to thank you for visiting.  We have four biological sons and a daughter we adopted from Orissa India in 2004.
This blog chronicles our journey to adopt and parent our adoptive children. We hope to travel to Zambia, Africa in 2007 to adopt two more girls.

If you would like to read more about our family, you may visit our day to day blog.

Hey, I stumbled across your blog through adoption sites and then found your family/photogrpahy site. We are currently in the process of adopting from Ethiopia (just about done with paperwork) but I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind telling me some of the books or things that helped your photography along. I am aspiring but struggle without having help. Thanks and blessings to your sweet family!

    HI there,
I just stumbled across your website. Your photos are amazing and you have a wonderful family.
I have 3 adopted children from Tanzania and now live there and run an Orphanage (Forever Angels)
Good luck with any future adoptions

hi, my name is Tamra Hyde. i believe yours is also. i am ver much involved in adoption and i see you are as well. my work has mainly been in regard to infant(birthparent to adoptive parent) adoptions but recently i’ve thought alot about international adoption. i always thought i’d adopt from an orphanage at some point but i’ve decided not to wait til a’m married as it seems increasingly unlikely that i will.
i’d love to have a dialog with you on these matters.

Hi. I just stumbled across your blog as I was searching for people who’ve adopted from Zambia. We are adopting from Zambia this spring and I was just wondering if you ever went through with your Zambian adoption.
    Just curious!
